Joanne Byrne Presence PR

Joanne set up Presence PR with Sinead Ryan in 2003 and has worked with a large number of national and international brands from Aldi to Emerald Park. Joanne oversees Presence People and is an agent for a number of well known Irish personalities including Nicky Byrne, Lucy Kennedy and Mairead Ronan. For over ten years she has also worked as a Unit Publicist on film and TV sets most recently ‘Small Things Like These’ as well as working red carpet events and film festivals around the world. She has also since their inception worked with Westlife.

One of her first jobs was working as Executive Director at The Variety Club of Ireland – a children’s charity that taught her the power of a well written thank you note and she continues to support a number of charities  –  she is currently on the fundraising board of Debra Ireland as well as supporting the equine therapy unit of Child Vision.

Joanne studied English at UCD before studying for an MBS at Smurfit Business School and then securing an MA in Communications from DCU.
