MAMJS appoints new Deputy Principal

New Deputy Principal
Ms Gillian Beatty

Mount Anville Montessori Junior school is delighted to announce that Ms Gillian Beatty has been
appointed as our new Deputy Principal.

Gillian started in MAMJS in 2009 and has taught across 1st to 6th class over the course of these
years. Taking a sabbatical from MAMJS between 2016 – 2018, Gillian taught the International
Baccalaureate curriculum to Kindergarten pupils in Emirates National School, Abu Dhabi city.
Gillian currently teaches 1st class in MAMJS and will continue teaching whilst carrying out her
Deputy Principal duties.

Throughout her years of training, Gillian has obtained a Bachelor of Education and a Masters in
Education, in the area of Cooperative Learning. Gillian has been our Maths Coordinator for several
years and she fulfils her passion for the Irish language while working with ‘Coláiste Chamuis’ each
summer.
