Kate McLaughlin

Kate McLaughlin, nee carton, class of 2004

Kate Carton graduated from Mount Anville in 2004 after 15 very happy years there. Kate then studied Psychology in UCD followed by business through a Masters in Management in Smurfit Business School. In 2012 Kate qualified as a Chartered Accountant. She worked in the Transaction Services department in KPMG before moving to the NTMA, advising governmental departments on capital projects. Kate now works in a family business, Themvar, an investment company.
Kate got married in 2015 and now has (three!) children. Outside of work, Kate plays golf in Milltown Golf Club and enjoys meeting her friends, with whom she remains close since her school days.
Mount Anville remains one of the most positive character forming influences of her life. She has many fond memories of happy times there and still benefits from life lessons learned in school.
